[Fixed/Guide]Cant install Games on new drive
[Fixed/Guide] Ok so i had an issue Installing games on a newly Formatted Drive, and im going into Detail for a 'potential fix' for people that have this issue:
after Following this Guide i couldnt install games on a new Drive using KDE Partition Manager

once you have Followed that and Reached Here (/etc/fstab) (First pic)
please put as the last thing: rw, exec
and it has to be last apparently, idk why im just here to help others if they run into this, lol
if you're btrfs like me it should be like this Format (Second Pic)
(the last pic is i believe personal pref, but i could be wrong, i just stuck to the guide lol)
then you mount
this should work but if not another thing i tried was
going to /home/{user}/.steam/steam/steamapps/libraryfolders.vdf
(.steam will be hidden make sure you unhide it)
open "libraryfolders.vdf" and at the bottom, add this :
"5"
{
"path" "/var/mnt/games"
"label" ""
}
(Note : that "5" should change based on what number is show after e.g. if i have 4 diff folders with Steam library (listed like 0,1,2,3 that's 4 )the last one would be the number 4) and change "/var/mnt/games" to the path you want, steam will populate what ever it needs
