Account-Based Permissions Query
I have a bit of a weird question here. So I am trying to use Immich with my team, but I need to avoid creating accounts as much as possible, because if people have to have their own accounts, they won't want to manage it (plus we still have to share albums individually)
So anyways, my ideal setup looks something like this:
- I can log into the admin account where I can do everything as normal
- My team members can log into a secondary account. This account needs to have full view access to albums and photos (currently achieving this with a "guest" account that I've shared the password for). It also needs to be able to upload images or create albums, but not modify or delete images/albums.
Is there any way at all to achieve this? Kind of a very particular question but just thought I'd put it out there

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.Probably possible if you spend some time whitelisting specific API endpoints and methods
https://immich.app/docs/api/introduction/
We don’t have any guide or docs for this
how's that? would i have to write my own frontend for it?
In your reverse proxy
This won’t be an easy task FWIW
that's what i'm assuming
oh
so i use tailscale for that
we also have a discord server that i wrote a bot for, i might look into the api instead, see about using a command group for creating albums, creating upload links, getting view links...
autocomplete will be nice for album names...
sure, the app itself (and the website mostly) uses only api endpoints so everything is possible through the api
yeah
thanks
