'GAME NEEDS SYSTEM RESTART' Problem

i've rebooted my laptop multiple times now, and each time, either in the riot client, it tells me that i have to perform a system restart, or even when the game loads up, it says vanguard failed to initialize.
this started happening right after i updated my intel graphics drivers to latest version.
