Lost Connection Trying to join Friends Server
Goes to syncing-> loading tiles -> lost connection.

If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on
tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. We both tried making new characters and new worlds and it still did it for both of us.
i followed all of the steps on microsoft too. none worked.

i am having the same problem
the thing is i alry played on that server but then i culdnt connect
glad im not the only one with the issue then
@Nickylmao next time this happens, ask your friend for his server log, found in the same place you got it from, and post it here

but it does that in the base game with no mods
so could mz pc be an issue?

and a fresh world

doesnt work
loading tile data goes up to 26%
then straight to lost connection
would you like the logs from that one?

we both hosted.
made new worlds and characters to ensure it wasnt working

yeah
i can join my own, but when he tries to join me it loads some tile percentage, then cuts to lost connection
and vice versa
looks like it just kicks you out exactly 2 minutes after the "recieving tile data"

around that time period seems correct
I would like:
the joining player's client log, and the host's server log
not both from the same person

looks like nothing fancy, just a timeout of 2 minutes
can you try checking if you have outgoing connections enabled for dotnet in your firewall settings

well for the tmod loader if zou manualy dowload mods it will work thats how i have done it and then join

but now i have a problem where i cant join its eater stuck on joining to server name or just lose connection
they are past the mod syncing stage so this wouldnt change anything

tryed so many thgs alrd went on redit , youtube other websites and nothing works so now i am trzing to understand how servers work and such
