GPS Data redacted caused by missing Media Management or All File Access premisson
Hello dear Team,
there was case https://github.com/immich-app/immich/issues/11280 but was closed earlier. This issue still persists. For OS like CalyxOS the App would need either Media Management or All File Access permission on Android to not be affected for the Exif Data reduction for Privacy reasons.
Could you please add one of the two premissions, so this app is included from the automatical redaction? Thanks a lot.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

unfortunately on CalyxOS (I think everywhere) it is only requesting Photos and Videos
This does not apply for the Security Feature to Exclude the App from the GPS redacting. The only workaround would so far to disable the feature ... As reading the manuals giving one ove the above mentioned Permissions should fix it ...

Even if giving immich GPS access does not help it. The files are having GPS Exif data and the uploaded ones are stipped.
GPS stripping happens if the app doesn't have location permissions
Seems like a calyx thing specifically which has historically caused us a bunch of issues. We don't have a calyx test device so we aren't really able to validate Immich for calyx
both settings unfortunately do not have any impact. The GPS is missing any ways
I could help and support with this ... could you release a version of the app that is requesting both premissions so I could test if this would fix it?

#16732 has a handling to request the access all files permission. We can test if that fixes things once that gets merged
