TML is looking for the game in the wrong drive

I just downloaded TML and when I try to open it it gives me an error that says "Could not find file 'C:\Users\Lay\Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\Mods' but the game isn't even in my C drive so I'm unsure what it's looking for?

the game's path is: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria TML's path is: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\tModLoader I looked through the files real quick and I couldn't find a file that lets me manually adjust the game's path

The error relates to the save folder, not the install folder. The saves are in the My Documents location, which on your computer is the C drive. The error seems to be related to some kind of file permissions did you already do the Controlled Folder Access feature detected. If game fails to launch make sure to add "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\tModLoader\dotnet\dotnet.exe" to the "Allow an app through Controlled folder access" menu found in the "Ransomware protection" menu. suggestion mentioned in the client.log? Another user had a similar issue and made the C:\Users\Lay\Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\Mods folder themselves and it fixed it. https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/wiki/Basic-tModLoader-Usage-FAQ#controlled-folder-access

K, that wiki page mentions a last resort option of changing where saves are stored, if the controlled folder access setting fix didn't do anything either
