I have the veinminer datapack, and with silk touch pickaxes it only silk touches on block
don't know how to change it i don't know what command i use to get it to silk touch every block

The datapack version of veinminer does not allow custom blocks, only ores. So which blocks does not work with silk touch for you? Also silk touch support was added in 1.2.1, so if you use an older version it will not work

literally all of the base ores it still doesnt silk touch
Do you play in single player or some server? I can not reproduce the issue in 1.21.5 with veinminer 1.2.5 atm
using it on a realm atm
and for the most part it works a treat
ooh realms... they tend to break things. For my self i do not own any realms which makes testing impossible. Is there some form of console on realms?

but i can edit some of the commands
its doing it on singleplayer currently too
so silk touch dont work for you in single player too?

I'm really confused, if the command above worked there is no reason veinminer shouldnt work... Just to confirm your veinminer datapack is called
Veinminer-1.2.5 and you play on 1.21.5 Minecraft, correct?ahh its 1.2.4 im using
That explains it, Minecraft changed some things. If you update it should work again!
