To be fairā people from Morocco tend to have lighter skin tones :)
that's what i thoughtāwhich is why i was confused on that :[
Maybe making the original tone just a little bit darker would make it look a bit more culturally accurate?
But realistically -- Moroccan people can have pretty light skintones, so I think it's fine (please note I'm not Moroccan nor am I super familiar with the culture)
the skin color is fine, morrocan people like grass eater mentioned are very diverse. (based on history and many years of colonization too)
if u think he's brunette with green eyes it works because there are Moroccans as such. if you think he's really dark skinned with really tight curls works as well because Morocco is just that diverse.

and people in noth africa usually have lighter skin tones compared to middle or southern african

For example, people native to Egypt, which is Northern African, are usually much lighter in skin tone than people native to Southern Africa
Though I will say blue eyes are quite very rare in Africa, though not impossible but most commonly will be brown or hazel, whereas blue eyes are much more common amongst Europeans.
