Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page.
If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on
tModLoader
in the library, then hover over Manage
and click on Browse local files
. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs
and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old
folder and drag them into this chat. If you need a visual guide to this process watch this: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/assets/4522492/3f4efa43-753f-4733-b630-ba85e711340cSaves are not stored on the Steam Cloud by default. You must move them to the cloud by clicking on the cloud icon next to the player/world. You can move them manually.

Here are some useful default paths:
Windows Saves:
%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader
(This is typically found in C:\Documents\
)
Linux Saves: ~/.local/share/Terraria/tModLoader/
or $XDG_DATA_HOME/Terraria/tModLoader/
Mac Saves: ~/Library/Application support/Terraria/tModLoader/
Windows Install: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\tModLoader
Linux Install: ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/tModLoader
or ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/tModLoader
Mac Install: Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/tModLoader/tModLoader.app/Contents/MacOS
Mod Path: Your manually installed mods are stored in a subfolder of the Saves folder called /Mods
. Workshop mods are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1281930
, but you shouldn't touch the folder and instead unsubscribe in steam.
Logs Path: The Logs are found in a subfolder of the Install folder called /tModLoader-Logs

do you mean in game or out of game
In game if you want to click the cloud button. Out of the game if you want to move the files yourself.

where is the cvloud button located
Next to the player or world in their selection menus.
Black cloud if it is off, white cloud if it is on.

no cloud means what
?
You need to access your other computer to get the saves.

oh
sorry im not understanding im autistic and i dont rlly understand these typa thigns easily
Your save files are still on your other computer. To transfer them to your new computer, open the game on your old computer and toggle the cloud saving on the players/worlds you would like. Those players/worlds will now be saved on the Steam Cloud (instead of your old computer). Steam will then down the saves to your new computer.

ohhhh ok thanks il try tha out
Note: the explored map data for each player won't be transferred, so you will need to explore your worlds again. If you move the files manually, you can keep the explored map data.
