Minecraft Legends

I tried installing vcrun2019 and using proton GE 9-4 not quite sure what I am doing wrong, I don't own the game on steam inly in the microsoft store so copying game files doesn't seem to work on linux I am just trying random stuff at this point

Minecraft from the Microsoft store has DRM, it won't work outside the Microsoft store

and there's no way to run the microsoft store on linux, so you won't be able to play the game from the microsoft store on linux, you'll have to buy it on steam also note the steam version ALSO has DRM, so you won't be able to play it on Heroic. Heroic can't handle steam's DRM
