Running ethernet via a pc

Hello all, I've just moved to a new apartment and haven't had a chance to get WiFi yet and am currently just using my 5g hotspot for everything(the Pi wont connect to it), I was wondering if I could use an ethernet cable from my PC (which is connected to the hotspot) to the PI.

Just making a sanity check before I go buy loads of ethernet cable.

Any advise would be appreciated.
