I need help with marvel rivals
I'm trying to use the heroic games launcher to play marvel rivals on epic games but when I start it up it loads for a second then stops how do I fix it because all my stuff is on epic games marvel rivals and I would hate to have to switch to steam marvel rivals

now the environment variable is set, but the target exe is unset

it shows as being set in your first log

I didn't set anything, so I tried the one from the other thread:
pathToGameFolder>/MarvelRivalsjKtnW/MarvelRivals_Launcher.exe
I tried it with and without

that log shows that there is still no target exe

i just looked more closely
last time you had
pathToGameFolder>/MarvelRivalsjKtnW/MarvelRivals_Launcher.exethat's not a valid path to anything when you see stuff that's in <> those symbols, it means replace it with whatever is valid for you so it's likely something like
/home/asus/Games/Heroic/MarvelRivalsjKtnW/MarvelRivals_Launcher.exemake sure that actually exists, then put it in the target exe setting
