Over extrusion (maybe?)
Still tuning my new v-core 4 500 hybrid and I think I'm running into an over extrusion issue?
Just wanted to get another set of eyes on it.
Thanks

I’m having the same issue.
Extrusion and first layer are intertwined.
Tune your EM (and extruder or PA, if you haven't done so already)
https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/articles/extrusion_multiplier.html
In your instance, it will be really important to follow the guide to decouple the first two layer squish from the EM result.
Once your EM is dialed in, unload your filament, clean your nozzle so there's no extra filament anywhere, and do the Beacon calibration. Once that's done, slice and print this file. When printing, use the Z-Offset box in Mainsail to tick the toolhead up and down.
This looks way too close, so first, memorize your current offset. Then to move it away, click a positive value. I'd probably straight up +0.05 right off the bat.
While it's printing, move it slightly positive or negative until the first layer is evenly extruded, and doesn't have these edge ripples or gaps. Resist clicking Clear, as that'll move you to a 0.0 offset, not to what your offset was before fiddling with things.
When you get it right DO NOT CLICK SAVE. Use the console command SAVE_Z_OFFSET before print it done. For some reason, clicking save always makes things messy, but using SAVE_Z_OFFSET works well. It may very well be the same thing functionally, but it's happened enough that the Save button made things weird so it's a superstition with me.
