Got False Banned
Hey Riot team, I’m reaching out to appeal the recent suspension of my Valorant account. I was notified that it was due to the alleged use of a third-party program, but I just want to clarify that I’ve never used any unauthorized software while playing. I’m thinking maybe the system flagged apps like Discord and Spotify running at the same time, but I genuinely believe this was a mistake. I’d really appreciate it if you could take another look into this. I'm also thinking that I was reported many times the day before yesterday because I played "too good". I’d really appreciate it if you could take another look into this. Hoping to get the account reinstated soon. Thanks in advance!

Most TOS say that its your responsibility to assure that no 3rd party apps are on your PC and no account was involved on the same PC. Bummer for computer clubs tho

Not me, my friend. Not sure about the exact reason. I'll try to replicate the ban on a dummy account with the suspected apps. But its hard to tell at what moment it triggered.

I used to work on an anticheat for a russian game. The main dilemma we had is computer clubs having tournaments and "pro" players were getting banned due to serial numbers being flagged, hwid.

Some do, hard to detect sometimes. They pay good cash for cheats built-in their mouse, recievers and etc
Most interesting cheats are using AI, so instead of accessing the game, they just use video data. Some triggerbots based on this. Not sure about valorant, cuz you need 2 mouses for this most of the times. Valorant doesnt even let me charge my mouse during a match, guess it sees two different ID's when on reciever and connected

In theory if you only got an HWID ban with no cheats detected, you could be unbanned. But it really depends on the TOS and who reviews your case.
