Establishing weekly+ outreach conversation lab
We had a great conversation lab for reaching out to people about AI safety at the MAISU unconference. It was both interesting and very fun with a lot of laughter :gayther:.
I think running something like that weekly (or just once) could be very high value.
How @Sev ran ours. Please feel free to improve and iterate:

If someone else is already running one, running one more at a different time also still seems great. Or take it into a local community and run it in a local language. Or coordinate with them. It's much more fun to do things with two people. You could also run in alternating weeks/days, or take over for them.
The goal isn't to be indispensable by running a lot of things, but to be completely dispensable and elevate other people.

- One person (role-player) plays the random person (could be different levels of expertise from know nothing, to poweruser/expert)
- Person 2 engages the role-player (possibly switch around Person 2 if they get stuck/it feels right (could be plus/minus))
- Ask Person 2 what they think went well/not. Ask everyone else what they think went well/not.
- After the sessions ask for learnings and good ideas
- Would love if you could add the learnings/good ideas here so we could create a collection and turn it into a post/improve other posts. This will also help anyone running a new event or people joining one.
