Summer Shirts cowpoke/thriftig/vinted edition

Currently starting to think about what kind of tops i can wear once temperatures get too warm to layer my trusty lee trucker on top. Kind of want a few tops that feel a bit more intentional than just wearing my regular long sleeved button ups without a jacket. Style is 70s adjacent westernwear but make it fun and queer. Short sleeved plaid shirts are OUT unless they are really dang good. Mostly looking for brand recs i can thrift on vinted. Budget per shirt is 50€. But if you have some bangers/cool retail stuff im willing to spend more.

Short sleeve camp collars or shirt with snaps and the westerny chest pockets seem like the most easy to find answer to this Wrangler, levis, lee, etc. have all made a lot of those It's a bummer that you can't filter for short sleeve shirts only on vinted (afaik) This seller might be a good place for inspiration for brands (but is a bit expensive): https://www.vinted.at/member/59806394

Equipment makes really cool silk tops with cool patterns, most of the stuff online is their women's line but you can find some stuff in mens sizes still. their shirts are like 250 euro + retail yet you can find them on vinted all the time for 20-40 otherwise look for marithé francois girbaud, a lot of their 90s-2000s stuff fits unisex so a womens big size will work. looking up their mens stuff isnt worth it, too expensive on vinted. some very out there designs if you look a bit (might be a bit far from your style for most of their stuff)

All of my suggestions are over budget fwiw. I’m sorry, but you’ll have to look at Wythe. Both their Tencel westerns and their Madras shirts are amazing for summer. I feel like Hawaiian Shirts could be a vibe for you. It feels like an appropriate summer alternative to westerny stuff - think Charro vs Blue Hawaii. (The Elvis movies) IMO Maison Labiche has one or two cool offerings this season. Tombolo was recommended in the other thread and tbh some of those are straight bangers.

I will give these a look. Im also looking at Pals tencel western shirts as a cheaper alternative bc they are EU made. Current plan, because im not really feeling spendy, is getting some relatively boring solid coloured chambray/linen shirts w decent cuts from vinted and DIY them to be a bit more interesting. Hawaii shirts would absolutely be a vibe, im just a serial tucker and not sure if i wanna do that to a hawaii shirt lol. I gotta look at ethans fits, i think he has a few fun hawaii ones. Maybe i need a straw cowboy hat... I hate that im mentally already thinking about fw stuff again lol

vintage arrow shirts if you can find them are a little saucy inc brand as well i would not discount also simply taking a normal button down, making it sleeveless, and running it from there

I really like portuguese flannel camp collar shirts and have gotten a couple in cotton, linen and tencel from vinted at 40-60 euro

feel like needles western shirts would be a good option for this if you're ok with synthetics
