Information
In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)

You can check the status in administration > jobs
If it shows that it’s completed and they’re still missing, first try re-running missing then if that still doesn’t work, then come back to this thread with the information the bot request Ed

Would it also fix the fact when I click those images they don't load
Yes, when you click the image you’re loading another converted image which is also generated in the same task

Well I just went ahead and clicked the infinity button on a couple of the tasks
You did not need to do that
That forces Immich to reprocess every single asset
You should stop all the jobs you clicked that on, and then click the Missing button to make sure Immich has processed everything
(Missing will queue up all assets that haven’t had that job completed for them)

on my moms iphone it still shows the photos as blurs
no more exclamation mark but it doesnt load the photo

I connected via tailscale for setup
Do I need to stay connected any time I access immich?
Yes, you need to be connected to the tail scale vpn whenever attempting to connect to Immich when not on your local network
Is it possible to not have to need tail scale?
