Anyway what I'm taking away from the article is that the app was made for the sake of making an app, so I'm not optimistic, but anything that encourages secondhand shopping is not bad imo

Yup I basically had the same feeling lol, it's a good concept however I think this idea exists already (shoptagr/karmanow)
Also, it's not that hard to dig online to see if you can get something for a better price

Also, the really good deals are usually hiidden behind atrocious lighting, blurry pics and cryptic item descriptions
