Android app forgets backup album.
Every time I launch the app, the settings get reset and Backup Albums says ‘Selected: None’ instead of ‘Recents’ that I set earlier.
It’s still “possible” to upload like manually uploading and set the values again and I can see the background backup work for a few minutes and it stops doing that.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.

Successfully submitted, a tag has been added to inform contributors. :white_check_mark:For more context, it's not exactly "reset" like the UI shows that the album is set as backup. But the backup doesn't really happen. So I try to troubleshoot it by going into 'Select' and the checkbox is still ticked for 'Recent' but after a few seconds, it gets unticked. This is a weird experience.
It shouldn't get deselected automatically. Certainly odd. What happens if you manually select it after? Does it stick?
Is he in the habit of deleting all the pics from his phone?

Hi there. I can't say it exactly "stick" because the UI says it's selected once again. But the backup doesn't happen.
No. He doesn't.
I might be on the edge case. So I re-installed the app and am going to see if it fixes next morning.
I will report back if it didn't go as it should.
Sometimes it takes a few dozen seconds/minutes to load in @Tiz what happens if you just wait a bit?
You're right. I haven't confirmed it's fixed yet. But I had a similar experience on Pixel 7 and it took quite a while to load the backup interface. I will report back.
