469 levis loose shorts
Hi everyone, recently purchased the 469 loose shorts by Levis. I got them in the exact same waist size as all my other Levis yet these fall off my waist. They seem at minimum a full size off. Is this normal with their shorts?

Two reasons:
1: If they have a higher rise than your other shorts, you may not need as large of a waist.
Think of it this way: If your shorts sit on your hips, you may need a 34. But if they sit higher at your actual waist, your body will be narrow there, you may only need a 30 or 32.
2: Vanity sizing changes frequently. A tag size of 34 normally means an actual waist of 36, but I've had them measure 38 as well.
3: Levi's are made in third world sweatshops with godawful quality control. Your shorts could just be mislabelled or sewn incorrectly.
Looked at the paper tag and it says they sit below the waist, but yeah even there they fit loosely. Guess I'll just have to find a suiting belt.
