Escaping Frame Caps
Is there an easy way to escape the 60 frame cap in some games using Heroic? With V-Sync turned off etc.

That would be game specific, because unlike V-Sync, which is something in the graphics API, a framerate cap is something in the game's code.

SteamOS’s game mode requires that you enable screen tearing if you want to break the cap

Yes, but for info for @story, that still wont escape hardcoded caps in games such as roblox (no longer playable on linux thru wine but yeah)
