Setting my soundbar to Optical on Bazzit

Hello, I can use my soundbar via jack by plugging it into the jack output of my DisplayPort screen, but I'd like to know if it's possible to use the Optical output (which works on Windows)? Thank you for your help. P.S. Sorry for any mistakes; I'm a French person and not very good at English, haha.

You mean via a Toslink cable? Sure Should work fine if your PC has a toslink output it should be supported by linux

toslink has no autol detection IIRC so you have to just set it yourself give me one moment can you manually switch to optical out? in your DE settings?
