If I supposedly dont have TPM, even though I had it before I reset my laptop in december, how the hell am I on windows 11?
Press windows key + r
Type tpm.msc
Show ss

Restart your pc
Spam F10 key to enter bios
Use your phone to text here
Once in bios open security tab
Show pic

Sorry for the reflection
Click on security
Yeah?

Ehh how is there no tpm option
:val_HUH:
What’s your pc model
As in?
The kind of laptop?
@𝗠𝗮𝘃 how did you upgrade to w11?
thats genuinely what im wondering too 😭
maybe try boot
Im not sure if i should download windows 11
10*
tried every option there, nothing changes
You’ll have to downgrade to windows 10
:RIP:
^ why did you say you had it before
cause i did
and it just dissapeared?
When the laptop was handed down, it had tpm and windows 11
I got the thing fixed after a screen issue and then...
were here now
im curious about what happened
bc i got no idea whats wrong
Bios update would be possible solution
My system doesnt seem to have any bios updates available, i checked my serial number on the hp website
Im hearing that this tpm thing is an physical component inside the computer, so maybe it got removed somehow while they fixed my screen?
Even tho tpm 2.0 is a requirement
Somehow without any issue it installs without it
I’ve done it on a system a while back
oh
got it
TPM is inbuilt in CPU
Hell
Maybe they ripped my cpu out for a quick buck 😭
That’s not how it works ☠️
Cause I was playing valorant perfectly fine back then
Try doing a CMOS reset
If nothing works
Downgrade to windows 10
Will anything I do be affected by that downgrade?
otherwise it would be fun, they stealing my mans tpm
😭😭😭
You might not get the TPM restriction
If you do we can ask someone to remove the restriction
Are you certain that there is no bios update
For your pc
I can provide you my serial number if you wish to check for yourself
Doesn’t have to be a new version
Even an old 1
Remove the restriction? As in from vanguard or what?
Sure
Yes
If I were to send them a direct email before downgrading, would they do that for me?
But given that your PC does support TPM 2.0, not sure how it would go

I thought the same, it's like he downgraded his hardware
for the support team
No
You need to downgrade and check if you get the restriction to enable it
If then it doesn’t work, something can be done
This tpm thing
How comes its only in vanguard?
Theres that anti cheat that epic games uses and I'm able to play those games

Each game have their own requirements
how can i get there
Alright, ill download it and let yknow
Ok
🙏
Alright, updated the bios
Should I restart and head into the menu now?
Press windows key + r
Type msinfo32
Show ss

Now press windows key + r
Type tpm.msc
Show ss

Alright enter bios now
Kay

Why do you have admin pass enabled
Don't think I do
Anyways not sure why it’s not showing up
Just downgrade to windows 10
I never get asked for an admin password
Sighh
All this for a game 💪😞
^ before that click on restore security settings to factory default
Doesn't do anything, tried it before
:val_Prayge:
Only 1 option left
Downgrade
Gonna make a last effort email, then downgrade
Thank you both for the help regardless
They will just give you a generic reply on how to enable tpm
You’ll be wasting your time with back and forth reply
Aw man 😭
u got windows 11 by bypass method
interesting
