Upper belt binding.
My printer has been working perfectly fine. All of a sudden I notice a layer shift so I move the tool head around and notice excessive force to move the upper belt. I checked the set screw on the motor and they’re screwed all the way. Is there anything else that could cause the upper belt to bind?

Does it bind at all positions?
I should mention I’m moving it by hand. But when moving diagonally so the bottom belt+hybrids it moves freely. But when moving in the x or y direction the top belt binds consistently
Here’s a video of what’s currently happening
I do print in an enclosure so I’m not sure if one of the bearings went bad because the heat.
Yeah, time to release the belts and see what isn't smoothly turning :/
For sure I have ceramic bearings ready to drop in but I was waiting for more parts to arrive lol. Thanks though!
Update on this. I have installed ceramic bearings and toothed idlers. It no longer binds when moving to the left but now when moving to the right it slightly binds on the upper belt still. When I had the belts untensioned the rail freely moved so Im assuming it isnt that. Im not sure if things are slightly misaligned or if ABS parts warped. When this issue popped up I had set a 5 hour print overnight and covered the printer with blankets to reduce noise. Im not sure if possibly the chamber temp got hot enough to warp parts?
