ROG Ally | No audio in gaming mode
After playing a game and exiting it I no longer have audio in Steam gaming mode, games still have audio but the steam ui is completely silent on every audio device
I’ve tried BIOS updates, a steam update, and multiple reboots but I can’t get the audio to work at all anymore

It does still work perfectly fine in desktop mode
I've narrowed it down and it seems to be an issue with steam itself, it has no audio in either desktop or game mode
tried doing ujust fix-reset-steam and it didn't help
Weird. So the games have sound. Are you sure that Steam UI sounds are enabled?

not sure if I can just reinstall steam or something
videos also dont play audio

steam somehow got set to muted in kde plasma and that was the cause
