Rocket League (Epic Games) not booting, macOS

Downloaded heroic today on an M4 Mac and tried to install/run Rocket League. Pressing 'play' will show the game as running for about 30 seconds until it goes back to 'play' with no pop ups. Looks like some Wine issue? Is there some permissions issue I'm unaware of?
