Nice!view and Wireless Help
(Using a Lily58 build)
Hello, I was hoping someone could help me please. My left Niceview display is very temperamental, it worked fine when I first built it, but after an hour or so when I went back to it and turned it on, the display shows the little static dots for about 5-10 seconds before it goes blank. It works about 70% of the time when it's plugged in. Is there a way to fix/update the display maybe?
Also, I can see lily58 on my bluetooth settings add a device but the connection keeps failing.
At a bit of a loss because everything was working fine when I built it. Also, the bottom row of my right keyboard is very temperamental and I've checked all the switches and they are in correctly.
Any help would be much appreciated! 🙂

Hello! I can definitely help you troubleshoot these issues with your Lily58 Wireless.
For the temperamental nice!view display, it sounds like it might be a connection issue. Since it works more reliably when plugged in, it could be related to the battery connection or the nice!view headers/sockets. I recommend checking the nice!view installation steps in the build guide to ensure the headers and sockets are properly seated and soldered (if applicable). You can find the guide here: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/lily58-wireless/nice-view
Regarding the Bluetooth connection failing, ZMK's pairing process can sometimes be a bit tricky. The most common reason for this is an issue with the Bluetooth profiles or existing bonds. Please refer to our troubleshooting guide on pairing issues, which explains how to clear bonds and switch profiles: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/troubleshooting/keyboard-wont-pair
For the temperamental bottom row on your right half, since you've checked the switches, the next most likely culprits are the hotswap sockets or the diodes for those keys. Our troubleshooting guide for single keys not working covers how to check these: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/troubleshooting/single-key-not-working. If an entire row is affected, it could also be an issue with the connection to the nice!nano for that specific row. You can find the pinout diagram for the Lily58 here to identify the relevant pin: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/lily58-wireless/troubleshooting
Please try working through these steps. If you're still having trouble, feel free to reply to this message or tag me for further assistance!
