Denim jacket fit advice/constructive criticism
Hello! I am on the fence about this denim jacket. But I don't know why. Maybe it's too small? I would love some opinions. Thank you!

Might be useful to tease out what doesn’t quite feel right about it by asking personalized questions: does it feel different from other jackets you have? Is it a color you haven’t worn before?Are you used to more/less detailing? By my eye, it looks just fine — especially on a bright sunny day like in your photo. Sometimes an article of clothing doesn’t have the imperceptible thing that just clicks for your sensibilities though… and that’s alright too.
Thank you! I do think it's because I have never worn denim jackets before. The more I wore it though the more I liked it. I also tried to dress it up which didn't look right to me.
it takes a second to get used to wearing denim jackets with things other than tees; best thing to do is to just keep wearing it until it becomes normal

i think it might be a women's jacket? (going off button placement, though if you're using the front facing camera of a phone this isn't applicable).
imo that shouldn't be an issue - the jacket fits and it/your credit card company doesn't recognize gender - though i'd try out other shirts and see how you feel in the combo
