Starwars BattleFront ii Epic games

Im trying to get the game to connect to multiplayer on Bazzite
Ive managed to get the game to launch using ProtonGE-Latest but it wont show online friends ingame or in the EA app
I looked online and ProtonDB and reddit say i need to "hide proton" using protontricks but i doubt thats something i can use for heroic
So my question is has anyone managed to get it to run or has a solution i can try?
