yes thats why there would be a centriputal force acting on block cuz drum is rotating and the box is just along the edge of drum

n is normal reaction and the mr omega^2 is the formula for centripetal force since they both are actign in opposite direction so they must balance each other for equlibrium

or also more clean definetion should be net force radially inward = centripetl froce and here only N is actign towards inside so that equals centripetal
