JoinElectrostatics - Potential doubt
I understand that for a sphere V is KQ/R when r<R and KQ/r when r>R
But why is it such that the induced charges +q and -q on the surfaces of the conductor have no effect on the point outside(C)? Yet it does for points inside(A)? Thank you...

Time Period Gravitaion
in this question the teacher did F = MW^2 R
and then did W = 2pi/T
i did F = MV^2/R
and then did R/V to find T but i dint get the ans , we cant use this method?...

variable charge density
a large non uniformly charged slab of thickness d is placed in the yz plane as shown. its charge density rho varies as rho=ax^2 C/m^3 . find electric field at (l,0)
i. l > d
ii. l < d...
Gravitation Simple Question
i cant get the answer to this simple questions
gp = GM/(4R/3)^2 = 9GM/16R^2
Gq = GM/(xR)^2...

Properties of matter, film of liquid in ring
I tried a method which was wrong for fairly obvious reasons in hindsight and now I'm confused.

Mechanics, taut string
I don't understand the question 🤷 Isn't the string already taut? What am I supposed to do here

Solubility in Chloroform
(from reneet 2024)
Official key actually says it's option 3. How do you differentiate between option 1 and 3 and what is the reason for 3 being correct?...

Oxn State
Chat i have a doubt during finding Oxn State of an element, cases in which oxn state exceeds valence electrons,
For example of CrO5, its oxn comes out to be +10 while its valence electrons is 6 but since its config is 3d5, 4s1 why is 4s1 included in the valence shell (ik its for more stability)...
PnC
i have done first 5C1 x 3C1 x 2 x 4
5C1 for selecting 1
3c1 for selecting a colour
2 because adjacent will have 2 ways
4 because the most away will have 4 choices , lets say i chose the chosen one as red...

Concentration terms
pretty washed up so can someone explain what this a-x breaking into some-x and another x means? Is this some sort of concentration?

Current Elec
sir's ans is 0.26
assuming I1 goes towards R1 and I2 towards R2
R3 = 312
372 I1 = 50
I1 = 0.1344086022...

Differential calculus? Honestly, idk.
Q.1 and Q.15 had me stumped.
I forgot the method for depressed cubics so I couldn't even factorise the function in 1.
As for 15, I don't understand how we solve the DE with an inequality? If it was an equation, then characteristic quadratic gives us the solution, but with a ≥, I have no clue....
