New photos not appearing on Android app, photos section blank on Web

In the web appp, I see my previously uploaded albums, but the timeline/Photos page is blank. When I run docker logs immich_server I see some messages about "date field out of range" and "Input file has corrupt header: heif: Invalid input: No 'hvcC' box (2.106)". On the Android app, I see my old albums, but new photos taken on the device don't appear.

I've tried reinstalling the Android app, rescanning external libraries (which I don't think I have anyway), running storage template migration (which I didn't change). No recent changes to the app or system, other than uploading a bunch of photos from a recent trip. Desktop/server is Linux Mint 22, phone is Android Pixel 3.

Photos are stored on /mnt/plex2 (/dev/md126)

Both the server and Android app are Immich version 1.132.3

can you run docker compose down then docker compose up and monitor the logs while you are accessing the web? Also, can you capture the screenshot of the developer console F12?

I ran the commands and watched the console while it was restarting, and while accessing the web app, but I didn't see any error messages. The browser console shows no errors either, it's just blank.

Can you go to the network tabs and find the timeBuckets request, copy the response and post it here?

Actually, I just looked at the console again and saw this error message, which I reported in my initial post:

Can you check the fileCtratedAt and fileModifiedAt and localDateTime column in the assets table, see if there are dates with years less than 1900?

I'm not sure how to access the table.

I will run the query to delete the offending records Ok, that resolved my issue with the web app. Unfortunately, photos I've taken on my phone still aren't showing up in the Immich app on Android. I guess they are unrelated issues Thank you for patiently helping me with the first issue. I had looked at that thread before reporting but failed to access the database, which now I realize was because I'm not using the default username.

Alright so the web works now? Can you help getting the mobile app log?

I just realized that the storage and location permissions had been revoked, so I re-enabled them, cleared the cache, and killed the app. But when I re-opened it, I still don't see the new photos I've taken, and the "On this device" section is still blank.

Here are the logs after doing that

Ok, now my local folders are appearing in the backup settings, so I added "Camera" and it synced my most recent photo. However, I'm still missing photos I've taken previously, which I can still see in my camera app. I used the Google Photos app to select the missing photos, then shared to "Upload to Immich" and now both my issues are resolved. Thanks for your help!
