Android app not detecting photos
The Android app is not detecting any photos in my Camera album even though there are hundreds.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

New timeline: not sure. Am on the latest app & server version.
which phone is this?
Do you mind re-install the app and when the app ask for permission to read images, you grant them all?
The font of the status bar and the icons makes me wonder whether you're on a custom ROM. Are you on one by any chance?
@Alex it's a Google Pixel 7a. Already tried re-installing, before doing that it detected the latest 10 images, now it doesn't see any.
@shenlong-tanwen that's actually the new design of the latest Android version.
Can you go into settings -> advanced and see if you have the new timeline setting enabled
Also make sure that you’ve allowed the app to have full access to your media

Also: just noticed that new photos are being picked up by the app. Everything that was already there isn't though.
I see, Can you go into Settings -> Sync Status -> Then tap the "Sync Local" button there?
took about 2 minutes, but that seems to have fixed it!
and everything is synced to the server. thanks for the help @shenlong-tanwen!
