You could always try second hand websites such as Mercari, Grailed, Depop, Facebook marketplace, The Real Real Or you can wait for deeper sales from different retailers Are you located in the states?

I would prefer avoiding fakes all together personally, plus if they're somewhat expensive at that point just save up for the real thing ofc idk your budget or anything

I'd rather save up and wait for the thing I want then buy a worse version now It will feel more meaningful too

fakes are fine but you will get clowned on by ppl who know their shit so make peace with that

U underestimate sneakerheads & overestimate how good fakes look.

do u have an idea about what might get damaged if i buy a fake sneaker like usually my sneakers are half the price of the fakes am talking about but this one claims to be fake (replicas) and mine are just budget options

Its not always damage - fakes will have any number of tells, from shoddy construction or incorrect stitching, to incorrect details and entirely different shapes from the OGs If you want your sneakers to last longer, you just need to rotate them. Don't wear them multiple days in a row, let them fully air out between wears, store them in a dry area, etc

no i mean lets say i buy a 1.1 replica aside of potential bad quality what would be the difference from the real deal ?

the problem is you cannot reliably get a 1:1 replica. if u can find some in person, great. Otherwise you're buying online and dealing with fake product shots and having no idea if what you get in the mail is going to look like what your ordered, or like a childs drawing of the shoe u wanted lmfao

yeye its inperson i saw the real one and saw the fake one and couldnt tell the difference, except design minor things but point is am worried about build quality of fakes like i dont wanna buy a fake shoes that is expensive just for it to get worn out after 2 weeks

lmao look bro its 100% your decision. I would absolutely clown on u for fakes, and so would most people here. If u dont gotta deal with that irl, go for it.

its ok lol

Build quality is impossible to gauge because fakes come from literally all sorts of sources. That's part of the risk for being too broke to get the real things lmao

exactly if u have any ideas about how to tell if build quality is good like i saw that the lower shoe part doesnt bend, like tooo strong

Build quality is impossible to gauge because fakes come from literally all sorts of sources. Just get a couple pairs of fakes and rotate em thru the week and see how it goes. You can check the stitching and test the soles to see how the glue is holding but you won't know for sure until you put some miles on em.
