Any idea why the Bluetooth might not be working?
When you go to bluetooth settings is the slider on the top right enabled?
Yep, in desktop mode it doesn't recognize the adapter
Okay, sorry I've done this before so just thought I'd ask.
No worries
I'm just hoping it's not an issue with drivers or something
Probably is though
go into your terminal and try lspci
see if you can find it in the list of devices.
It shows up under "Network controller"
So it is showing up.
Doesn't have any mention of Bluetooth
Yeah
That's good at least.
It's a wifi and Bluetooth card, I'm just glad the wifi works
I always use the tp link usb receivers. They're cheap and always work.
for bluetooth
Don't think bazzite has a good way to add drivers either.
since it's atomic.
Yeah
if you do lsmod | grep btintel in command does btintel show in the output?
Seems like I didn't install bazzite in uefi mode
Nope
run sudo modprobe btintel
see what happens
Nothing
System settings still doesn't see the adapter
Btintel shows in lsmod now though
hmmm
My bios doesn't see my bazzite install as uefi
Is that an issue? I might reinstall if I need
I wouldn't think so.
I think I'm gonna reinstall bazzite
I have nothing really on this, I think it's worth a shot
Might not be a bad idea.
Good luck.
Might be acase of installing it with the adapter installed.
assuming you installed the card after you installed Bazzite?
Yep
No luck
Tried this again, no luck either
No luck restarting the Bluetooth service either, the status shows this after the restart

Damn.

Alright thanks anyway
I'm looking for a Bluetooth adapter with a somewhat long range
I'm trying to setup a little gaming machine hooked up to the tv, but my current adapter doesn't have enough range for my controller
I think there is a tp link Bluetooth with an antenna but it's like 19 instead of 9
but it should work the same.
I usually get about 10 to 15 ft with those little guys.
