Fit Check on New Oxford Shirt
Purchased an OCBD from The Armoury - and while I love the shirt - I’m having doubts about the collar.
Would you say it’s too tall on me? Or looks awkward? With and without jacket.
I quite like the appearance, but wondering if I should go with a shorter collar length shirt

how is the collar when buttoned? might just be a case of it being brand new
i think it looks good fwiw; might just take some wears or washes for it to settle
Collar actually looks great while buttoned. I think you’re right and it needs to be softened
this is great, just needs a good iron and echoing above, just needs to be softened with wear and wash
never go for the shorter collar! A good point length is paramount for good collar roll and especially helpful if you're wearing ties with an OCBD or if you just want it to stand great on it's own
I forgot who makes the OCBDs for armoury, either Ascot Chang or somebody else
Thank you! I don’t believe it’s Ascot Chang - as it’s not listed on the site but it is made in Japan
