Help stuck in grub cli
So I have been trying to install bazzite for a few hours now on my rog ally x and I was following a tutorial all the way up past the installation and got to a blue screen. I went off script a little bit and clicked continue boot instead of Enroll MDK. Now I am stuck in a cli where I am a grub. Please send help. The end goal is to remove windows completely and have this as a bazzite machine. I think windows is purged but now its just me and linux where my name is grub.

Regarding your ROG Ally X... Did you disable fast boot and secure boot? Sometimes Secure boot comes with some passwords or security certificates that you also have to verify deletion on.
If you have both of those disabled, then continuing boot instead of doing
Enroll MOK
is perfectly fine. MOK is the "Machine Owner Key". You don't need this if you're not needing to sign your device and hardware. @BriceDid you disable fast boot and secure boot? I did not do this no. I did however disable disk encryption when windows was still on the device. I tried googling for a certain command or something to run but I couldnt find anything on it.
I recommend disabling both of those. You will have to do that in the BIOS. Hold down F2 when you boot up the device and you should get into the BIOS from there.
cool let me give that a try
The Grub2 menu will show up normally when the hardware allows Grub to show up. Otherwise you might get an errored out disk, menu or in your case, just the
grub >
promptThat seems to have done it I appreciate it ❤️

Actually I think I misspoke, it doesn't look like anything here gets closed / "resolved". Sorry about that Brice. :<
