Solution:
I made some digging and found out Iris had similar issues with Radeon 7000 series GPUs and has since rectify it. Oculus may have to update its code base to get it working again.

I think I see dh chunks. Can you take a screenshot where the distant terrain is not covert up? And set your normal render distance to 2 please.

You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed. After uploading the file, click on Save and send the link.

doesnt include a modlist for some reason. can you provide that seperately? a screenshot of your mods folder would be fine sorted alphabetically

and if it does, a /binary search may be necessary

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it. So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

Essentials is filling this log with so many errors, I suggest removing it first then launch the game to generate a new log in hope that it clear those errors first.

OpenGL log spam, most likely cause is bug when paired with Oculus. Just for sanity check, see if disabling shaders or removing Oculus helps resolve the missing LOD issue.

absolutely i’ll try asap. i noticed when i removed my essentials my shaders went too which is strange considering they don’t seem to have a reason to interact like that okay that worked, no oculus fixed it could this be an issue that can be fixed in the long run? whether its me or the creators update i really appretiate both yalls help though

However, I doubt Oculus would update their mods due to various factors at play. If you insist of having shaders, see what mods in your modpack that can be moved to either Fabric or NeoForge mod loader as both are supported by Iris, of which Oculus is based of.

what’s the difference between forge and neo forge? thanks man i appreciate that
hardester
hardester•5mo ago
NeoForge diverged from Forge following an internal dispute between the lead developer and their contributors, of which the contributors abandoned Forge and created NeoForge. It aims to be much friendlier for mod developers to develop on NeoForge with all the features the original contributors wanted to implement on Forge but couldn't.

mm i see, would you say it’s better? or are less mods compatible also i figured out another shader pack that works with DH, i was using one previously that worked but i guess when i switched gpus it had the issues you mentioned

Both NeoForge and Forge are mutually exclusive. There has been a period when NeoForge was able to load Forge mods to assist with transition, but I believe that period has passed. But don't fret, as NeoForge compatible mods are on a steady climb. I suggest you check whether or not most if not all of your mods contains a NeoForge variant or there's a replacement for it before transitioning.
