Braindead is calling it a fishing bucket hat and sillage is calling it a chapeau, but I cant find other hats like this under those search terms

why not? Its definitely what theyre basing the design on every time ive seen that sillage hat though ive imagined it worn the traditional way

yeah, i think theyre both just fashionized versions of a sou'wester hat, i dont think you'll find a different name for them. Wear them however! If i had one of the Sillage ones id still wear it the other way haha

oh I DIG although there is a used sillage hat @ like $80 so maybe i should just buy the one I came here for because I alerady like it haha
