Immich Android App uploading assets that are not selected
I'm reviewing my Immich gallery and found out a huge number of pictures that are not supposed to be there. I see that It is somehow auto uploading some pictures even if don't explicitly mark them to upload. is this normal?

Can someone help me figure out what is

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

You have selected "Camera" to be backed up, which is basically everything on Android
Nothing from your information shows any pictures that are supposedly not there
I understand, but I haven't pressed backup and it is backing it up automatically. Is that supposed to be the proper behavior?
Not sure, I can imagine it auto-starts once you select albums, but if the toggles are off you'd indeed think it waits 👀

you probably have automatic background backup turned on at some point
the app does not auto run if those conditions are not met
maybe tapped the cloud icon by accident?
I'm quite sure it was never turned on. I can keep an eye on it again and report it here.
