Normal battery drain?
Hey guys just built my lily, I’m draining 1% every 10 mins on my left half. Is this normal?
nice nano, nice view, no solder
All settings are default
Thank you!

Hey there! A 1% drain every 10 minutes on the left half of your Lily58 with a nice!nano and nice!view does seem a bit fast. The left half typically drains faster than the right, but you should generally get around a week of battery life with a 110mAh battery.
Here are a few things that could be causing faster drain:
* Keyboard left on when your device is off: The keyboard will constantly advertise, which uses more power.
* Keyboard left on during transport: Keys can be held down, increasing power usage.
* Connected to many devices: More connections require more power.
* A short on the keyboard: This is less common but can happen.

If you've checked these possibilities and are still experiencing fast drain, feel free to reply to this message for more help!

Still got the same issue, maybe I should lower the refresh rate on the nice view?
Lowering the refresh rate on the nice!view could potentially help reduce power consumption, as the display uses some power. However, with a nice!view, the left half is still expected to last around a week with a 110mAh battery.
If you're still experiencing significant drain after checking the common causes, it might be worth looking into the possibility of a short somewhere on the keyboard. This is harder to diagnose remotely.

One week = how many hours of consistent usage?
Battery life can vary quite a bit depending on usage patterns, but the estimate of around a week for the left half with a nice!view is based on typical daily use, not necessarily 24/7 consistent typing. It accounts for periods of activity and inactivity.
If you're using the keyboard for many hours straight each day, the battery will naturally drain faster than if you're using it intermittently.
The battery percentage reported is also an estimate based on voltage and may not be perfectly accurate. As long as it reaches around 80% when charging, that's generally not a concern.
If you're concerned about the drain, double-checking the points mentioned earlier (leaving the keyboard on when not in use, during transport, or connected to many devices) is a good first step.
How many hours do most people get out of the lily
Based on our documentation, with a 110mAh battery and nice!views, the left half of the Lily58 Wireless should last around a week, and the right half should last around a month.
This is an estimate based on typical usage and not a precise hour count of consistent typing. Factors like how often the keyboard is active, how many devices it's connected to, and whether it's turned off when not in use will affect the actual battery life.
What about without nice views
The battery life estimates are the same whether you have nice!views or not. Our documentation states that the left half should last around a week and the right half around a month with a 110mAh battery, with or without displays.
