How can I make bamboo look better?

I have my settings on extreme LOD dropoff and high vertical quality, not sure why it's like this.

that's how it's supposed to look lods cant have higher quality than a full block, that's the whole point

increase the vanilla RD or increase the noise texture (if the shader allows that) Yo ucan also add Bamboo to the ignored blocks list so that it will just be hidden
