Looking cool on a flight?
Title, basically lol. I know there's some people who wear formal or semi-formal clothing when flying. And there's people who don't think that's necessary at all, and will wear sweats/general casual clothing.
I'll be taking a flight for the first time in my life soon, so I was wondering if I should wear anything cool for the occasion or if it's not that big of a deal.

its not that big a deal
imo comfort over everything
unless there's a very specific occasion like you have to go right from the airport to an event, or sometimes i will wear mildly less comfy shoes on a flight if they are bulky and i cant pack them
but also if you are exited and want to dress up because of that go for it just know no one will judge for sweats or something on a plane
just wear whatevers comfortable for you
theres a whole segment of the market thats dedicated to like travel clothing (ex: lululemon) but realistically just wear comfy stuff
this is what i wore exactly on my last flight. i wouldnt wear sweats on a flight but that's literally just because i dont feel comfy being around strangers for an extended period of time like that lol

just be comfy, and if getting a fit off is comfy for u then do that!
Thank you guys

Wear whatever you feel good in!
I've worn button ups/downs and chinos on the last couple flights I've gone on since I was comfortable enough in them and I liked how they looked. I've seen people wearing suits on the same flight as people wearing sweats, so it's not a huge deal
I would recommend you bring something like a jacket or sweatshirt in case the plane gets cold
i love peacocking but i also think its nice being comfy so i usually go for a cute oversized hoodie or sweater and some bottom thats not too restricting but still cool
I wear baggy cargos and a nice hoodie, p much straight streetwear
its comfortable, slouchy, and you still look good as hell
plus i find planes tend to get a little cold so having a hoodie to bundle up in is always a plus
I wear something thats easily adjustable in terms of layers. Not big on hoodies personally but ive enjoyed loose hakama pants, boxy tee shirt, oversized flannel, and transitional jacket of choice. Sometimes a light scarf/twilly to be zesty. But the key for me are slouchy/loose/drapey for max comfort and also some drip. But i dont get uncomfortable on planes since i can fall asleep anywhere so ymmv :blushiedog:
Some of my friends swear by compression socks if youre worried abt poor circulation in the legs btw
i wear the clothing i’m too scared to pack
Whatever has the highest most comfy rise. All the sliding back and forth on the seats bunches all that shit up
