External library with SMB is not being read

I have problem with Immich on trueNAS SCALE. He doesn't like me writing media to external storage via SMB/SFTP. I can see all of my media (in that folder) without any issues, but Immich just shows "error loading".
I dont mind using Immich it looks very good, but I want to have control where exactly all my media is stored in case Immich stops working. Lets say I upload photos to Immich and uninstall it,
can I get my photos back?

I want my media to be also accessible through windows explorer and so other users can backup their files like they are used to, but I just cant figure it out.
I tried almost every permission, settings, users, organizations, share setting etc.
I followed official documentation and several youtube tutorials and found exactly nothing. Can you please give me some advice or send a link to solution?
