Unable to buy games on epic store via heroic launcher

I recently switched to heroic launcher because i like the ui better than the original epic games laucher. So far, everything works fine: I can login to my epic account, install games from there or import games installed via epic launcher and play them. I was also able to login to my account on the embedded epic games website and stay logged in, when i restart heroic. However, buying games via this embedded epic games website does not work. As soon as i click on checkout and confirm the cancellation conditions an error message appears saying "The captcha test failed, please try again later." The problem is: there was no captcha test being displayed. The error message appears instantly after checkout and about 1 second loading screen. I tried different games, even free games, restarted heroic or my computer several times - always the exact same result. If i try to buy the same game directly on the epic games launcher or the epic games website via my browser, it works flawlessly. No captcha is being displayed, the transaction just completed instantly. If i try again on heroic - same error message. I use Windows 11 and installed heroic via winget.

Solution:

This issue is resolved on the main branch of Heroic, meaning it'll be fixed in the next release (shouldn't be that far away now)
