removing mystery stain from lapel
hey guys
i ended up in a mosh and circle pit while wearing the jacket of my 70s western suit i just got, and now there is a bit of a weird stain on the lapel (surprised that’s the only damage)
any advice on how to get it out without damaging or discoloring anything? ik its short notice but i was planning on wearing it tomorrow

there is no fabric label or care tag on the jacket besides dry clean only. i’m assuming it’s a polyester or poly blend
Try tide pen and hand washing it

tbh just get it dry cleaned esp if you were in a mosh pit
If it says dry clean only then take it to the dry cleaner
imo dry cleaner is the easier option but alternatively: wet the stain, blot with a mix of water-blue dish liquid on a clean towel, let sit a little, blot with a clean damp towel, repeat as needed
