Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page. If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. As long as it meets the minimum requirements as listed on the tModLoader Steam page, the game should run fine.

Tag: install (Owner: jopojelly#0000) Installation is easy. If you purchased the Steam version of Terraria, install tModLoader from https://store.steampowered.com/app/1281930/tModLoader/. If you purchased the GOG version of Terraria, or Steam family share isn't working, read this: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/wiki/tModLoader-guide-for-players#manual-installation

If your surface is Windows 8, then it probably won't work well.

It’s the surface pro 11 with the new snapdragon chips I thought it wasn’t good at first but I have gotten modded Minecraft running
