Blue install icon not doing anything
Hi some games will download and and install normally, while some won't download.
When I click on the install button I just get the sound effect but nothing happens.
Any clues what I can do about this?

on steam? Cause I see there is something wrong with servers and I can't download anything. frontstore is also almost dead. Steamdb also shows everything died. Looks like its maintenance time now

When i click on this button I hear sound feedback but nothing happens
I get the same issue, in game mode a high proportion of my game library does not install when I click the install button. The button pressed sound effect plays but the install button does not change and nothing gets added to my download queue.
The same game in desktop mode steam client installs correctly.
Helldivers 2 is an example game that does not install in game mode.
Ace Combat 7 does.
Double check your Proton compatibility settings. Set to
Experimental if it isn't enabled.
If that's not it... Then I dunno :/Just wanted to say got the games to install normally when I'm desktop mode, they start normally in game mode then.

@Voodooman latest steam beta update fixes the install issues in gamemode
