Hey there! It sounds like you're running into a common issue with BLE pairing on macOS after renaming your keyboard.
When you rename a ZMK device, macOS can sometimes get confused about the existing bond. To fix this, you need to clear the bond on both the keyboard and your Mac.
First, on your keyboard, you'll need to clear the bond for the profile you were using. You can do this by pressing the
&bt BT_CLR
key. If you're using our default keymap, you can find where this key is located on the Lily58 firmware page.
Next, on your Mac, you need to remove the keyboard from your Bluetooth devices. Go to System Settings > Bluetooth, find the keyboard (it might still show the old name or the new name), and click the "X" or "Forget" button next to it.
After clearing the bond on both sides, try pairing the keyboard again. It should now show up with the default name and allow you to connect.
If you're still having trouble, you can also try cycling through the profiles on your keyboard using &bt BT_SEL <profile number>
or &bt BT_NXT
and clearing the bond on each one, just in case the bond was created on a different profile. More details on ZMK pairing can be found in our Keyboard Won't Pair troubleshooting guide.
Let me know if that helps! You can reply to this message if you need further assistance.i fixed it by clearing all bluetooth connections on the keyboard. i tried doing the one connection a bunch of times but that didnt work
it was clearing all that fixed it
thank you
