Western belt
Does anyone have a recommendation for western belts? I preferably want something made in USA, Mexico, or anywhere that produces high quality belts.
I will wear it with this shirt https://misterfreedom.com/products/aristocrat-shirt-nos-double-indigo-twill?variant=45480044626237 in a similar fashion (unbuttoned with a tucked in white shirt)
I purchased this belt https://www.ralphlauren.com/men-accessories-belts/hand-tooled-leather-belt/100036097.html originally, but I think it's too long. If I post a picture could someone tell me if it's too long?
Thank you very much!

Yes post a picture
budget would help but monitaly, sid mashburn and tory all come to mind
vintage or secondhand is also an option; three piece, spur and to a degree braided belts give the effect imo
i have three belts from ben geisler
you won't find a better for less

One more batch and I'll be caught up. It's been a long time coming.

they are hand tooled, as opposed to pulled through a roller
with a hand tooled belt, if the person making it knows what they're doing, there will be an indexed center point in the design of the tooling that will sit square in the center of your back
if you know where that is and you can center it, that also can help give an indication if you've got a lot of extra length
in any case even though i don't tool or make belts, i do know enough to spot a good or a bad belt when i see one so if you have candidates you'd like some professional e-pinions on, i'm happy to oblige

Wow thanks for all the replies everyone! Give me a moment to read through them
@raisin @zeometer (xxxvi) @Waxx @beans this is a size 36. Definitely too long but not sure how many inches shorter I should go

idk why the images look weird. I can try to re-take if their unhelpful
this might be helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEvrdXk86cY
if it were me, and i were looking at dropping good money on a belt, i would not order from someone who did not have specific measurement instructions for their specific belt style
but that's my own e-pinion
going off the size chart you might want the small

generally
waist size + 2" = ideal standard belt length
. ime belts sold by numeric waist size are true to size (e.g. a 32 belt is intended for a 32 waist, and there's a little extra length for comfort) but it's always best to check for a size chart/physical measurementsMan, belts are difficult, would be ideal to be able to try on in person
im wearing these size 33 in the picture, so i'm thinking to go with a 34, maybe even a 33.. https://www.blueowl.us/products/sp-085s-ishikawadai-45th-anniversary-13oz-selvedge-denim-regular-straight-fit
